Thank you for supporting these Mamas. By hosting an event, you are not only providing blankets to honor & celebrate these littles ones we hold in our hearts, but you are creating a space for these mothers to feel seen & heard.
This is a pivotal portion of the growth for STH & we hope you are excited about that! Thank you for being a part of us pushing through borders to bring blankets across the country & reach broken hearts from coast to coast as we pray for their healing.

We will be praying over your time together & we are eager to hear feedback. We have included printable & resources to help you!
Gather the Goods
Here is a checklist of what to get & gather!
☐ Fabric, 2 yard piece of fleece fabric = 1 blanket
We currently shop at Joann’s but will other options once we find an online supplier!
☐ Scissors, roughly 1 per guest if possible (tell your guests to byos?)
☐ 5x5 Square Cutting Guides, 1 for each group is just fine!
☐ 1x5 Strip Cutting Guides (~ 1 per guest)
☐ Wrapping Kit, if requested — twine, greenery & a STH Blanket Card, 1 per blanket

Make the Blankets
Here is a link to our Instagram video of How to Make the Blankets that you can study or even share to your guests! Additionally, there is a PDF version you can download & print below.
Sharing an emphasis on — these are one layer tie blankets. Typically, our guests are familiar with the two layer version. This sometimes brings confusion on how to tie the knots. Remind your guests that they will take one strip & tie a knot in it like a balloon.
Fold & Wrap these Blankets
Here is a link to our Instagram video of How to Fold the Blankets that you can study or also share to your guests! We like to share this part of our blanket process since it is what these families will see at their door.
This video demonstrates how we fold our blankets. If possible, we invite you to add this task to your agenda. In doing so, they will both ship better & stay in better condition.
The wrapping kits are optional & sometimes hard to get sent out due to resources. If you have the materials, enjoy adding the final details around your blankets. If not, any string (& greenery if you feel fancy) along with these printable letters will work just as well & be filled with just as much heart!
Our Branding Folder has a handful of logos, photos, pre-made graphics, brand info, you name it! Feel free to use to print or create different marketing needs.
The Information Flyer is a printable that summarizes the core of STH with quick info. Something to print for each guest or just one to have on hand to share.
The Connection Sheets piggy-back off the flyer! It is nice to collect info from all of our guests. Reaching out can be hard, let us do the work! We would love to connect.

Time to host your event!
Today is the day & we are oh-so excited. We know the time, talent & social butterfly-ness that hosting an event takes. Serving STH in this way is appreciated more than you know. Although we cannot be there, we wanted to be as present as possible & offer any help that we can.
Here is a PDF Guide to help offer some itinerary tips & also a “script” on sharing the story of STH. We hope that you find this helpful but know that however casual or formal this gathering is, it is work for the Lord & He will be there “where two or more are gathered, there He is also” Matthew 18:20.
