A Goodbye to Our Angel Keepsakes

From the very beginning of Something to Hold, one of our earliest offerings was the Angel Keepsake — simple ornaments meant to honor the precious lives of babies gone too soon. These keepsakes were more than a fundraiser; they were symbols of remembrance, connection, and love. They played a beautiful role in shaping this ministry and helping it grow. In many ways, they helped bring Something to Hold into being. How amazing is it to look back and see how God used those small beginnings to build something much bigger?

And now, with full hearts and deep gratitude, we’re announcing that the Angel Keepsake initiative has come to a close.

Sweet Thanks from the Bake Sale 2025: Your Support in Action

On June 5, our community showed up in the most beautiful way — through sugar, smiles, and service.

Our First Miscarriage Story

With every story written & conversation had concerning our infertility journey, I honestly didn’t think I would type those words. “Our Miscarriage Story”. Now whether that is because I never though we would be the 1 in 4 or just the thought of never being able to become pregnant, that I am not sure. Our story has grown to mounds that are some what uncharted territory. I grew comfortable sharing about infertility, but now this is a stage on a bit of shaky ground. Fear in saying the wrong thing. Fear in not demonstrating the heartbreak honestly. Fear in not honoring our baby the correct way. That is the thing, though. I write. I share. If I did not do so in accordance with this life event, well that would not honor our child properly.
