Ambassador Program

This is a volunteer liaison between your congregation & Something to Hold.

Become the point person for the loss community in your church, ensuring that families receive a blanket as a tangible comfort. Below is more information about our hopes for this program, needs for our ambassadors & next steps —

Questions & Answers

- a 2025 initiative rolling out this summer to expand the reach of Something to Hold and the resource library for the church
- group of volunteer liaisons between their congregations and Something to Hold
- helps the church respond with comfort and care when a loss occurs in their congregation or community
- coordinates blanket requests when a loss is known, confidential information noted
- assists with hosting a Held & Heard support gathering (once a year)
- organizes a service project (e.g. with a women’s group or small group)
- shares STH opportunities and resources with the church: flyers, bulletin inserts, ministry leader connections, etc.
- becomes part of our volunteer team—equipped with resources, training, and a communication channel with other Ambassadors
- commit to this primarily remote volunteer role to care for the loss community in their congregation, seeking guidance from church leaders as needed, build the resource capacity of STH and sign our confidentiality agreement
- provides the church a tangible response for families walking through loss
- sends a clear message: You are seen and your baby matters
- aligns with shared beliefs: That life begins at conception, that God’s mercy extends to infants, and that there is eternal hope in Him – visit sthold.org/faith for full statement
